Tour Program:
Morning – Departure from Agadir
Your day begins with a morning pick-up (8:30 AM) directly from your hotel or residence in Agadir. We then drive towards Taroudant, often referred to as the “Little Marrakech” due to its impressive ramparts and Medina, resembling Marrakech’s old charm.
Before reaching Taroudant, we’ll make a scenic stop to take photos of the famous tree-climbing goats, perched on argan trees – a unique sight in Morocco.
Midday – Visit of Taroudant
Once in Taroudant, enjoy a guided stroll through its ancient Medina, explore its colorful souks, and discover its rich history. Once the Saadian dynasty’s capital in the 16th century, the town is now known for its local crafts, silverwork, and handwoven carpets.
Afternoon – Journey to Tiout Oasis
After visiting Taroudant, we head 30 km further to the Berber village of Tiout, nestled among palm groves and traditional mudbrick houses. Here, enjoy a delicious traditional lunch with a view of the lush oasis.
You’ll then have the option to ride a donkey along the oasis paths or simply walk and admire the serene landscape. Don’t miss the Kasbah of Tiout, where the 1950s movie Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves was filmed.
Evening – Return to Agadir
After a relaxing and culturally rich day, we drive back to Agadir. Estimated arrival time is around 5:00 PM.
